Standard Sizing
We offer standard sizes for all of our dresses. Please refer to the FAL Size Chart for the measurements for our standard sizes.
Custom Sizing
We can also make your dress to your custom measurements. Please refer to the instructions below on how to go about taking your measurements when ordering a dress with custom sizing.
How do I go about taking measurements?
You can take the measurements at home with some assistance from a friend/ family member or at your nearest tailor / seamstress, whichever is more convenient for you.
Please keep in mind, we offer basic custom sizing to help reduce your potential alteration costs. While we will make your order according to the measurements provided, your dress may require additional alterations at your expense.
Small variations in all wedding gowns are to be expected, custom tailoring is necessary for all quality garments to achieve the best possible fit.
For example, strap length isn't customized. We make all straps the same length, to fit a wide range of body types, so your dress straps may need to be adjusted or taken in with a local tailor to fit you comfortably.
Measurements
• Bust : Measure across the fullest part of your bust.
• Waist : Measure the slimmest part of your waist (above your navel but below your ribcage).
• Hips : Measure the fullest part of your hip area.
• Arm Girth : Measure the circumference around your upper arm. Relax your arm and let it hang at your side. Your bicep should be slightly tensed. Pass the measuring tape around the thickest part of your upper arm.
• Arm's Eye : This measurement gives us the size of the sleeve hole that you are comfortable wearing. This measurement is entirely subjective and you can make it as deep or as tight as you are comfortable with.
• Arm Length : Measure from the top of your shoulder, along your arm to where the wrist meets your hand, just past your wrist bone.
• Waist to Hem (Without Shoes) : Starting from where you took your waist measurement down to the floor.
• Hollow to Hem (Without Shoes) : Measure from the center of the collarbone to the floor.
• Shoes Length : Give an approximate length of the heels that you plan on wearing.
